Whether ur a man, woman, boy, girl, red, yellow, white, black, purple, gay, lesbian, straight, xenophobe, or "as inclusive as u feel comfortable". Maybe ur an a$$... Maybe ur an elephant... U might even be from "across the pond". Maybe u don't vote, Maybe ur independent. We all have our biases.
What I'd like to know is how to get beyond our own biases so that we can more effectively communicate w each other and try and get our points across without berating someone else.
Honestly, I don't know *HOW* I come across to women. I may very well come across and a moronic, xenophobic, sexist, misogynist.
I don't *hate* all women. Yet, I don't trust women, especially in person. Is that a bias??? Probably.
Do u have any biases that u'd be willing to talk about??? Can we learn from each other??? Let's keep it polite.
